Doris Sung is a Toronto based visual artist. Her artwork investigates the relationship between Daoism and visuality.
Sung graduated Master of Fine Arts from York University in 2004. She has exhibited in various galleries in Toronto, China and her native Hong Kong. She has had several solo exhibitions at the Art Gallery of York University and the Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts, Toronto.
Select group exhibitions include: Sacred/ Profane (Red Head Gallery, Toronto), Body as (ready to be re-) made (Propeller, Toronto), China Turns: There¡¦s No Problem Today (Glendon Gallery, Toronto), Contemporary Ink Wash Painting Exhibition and Symposium ( Shandong, China) and Conversing Identity (HK Art Centre, Hong Kong).
Sung is also on the board of A Space gallery in Toronto.
