I began painting at age 30 as a form of self-therapy. I am self-taught. People spontaneously took an interest in my art. Acceptance at Being Scene sponsored by Workmanˇ¦s Theatre at Queen Street Mental Health Centre began a phase of wider acceptance for my art and led me to transform it into a more sophisticated form. I use bright colors and mix realism with imaginary images.
