The "Women Ambassador" program is a partnership project between the Chinese Canadian National Council Toronto Chapter and the Working Women Community Centre, which aims to change traditional Chinese attitudes that regard domestic violence as a shameful private matter. Rather we are promoting the view that Domestic Violence is a crime, which without intervention increases in severity and frequency. Domestic Violence is preventable.
