Jian Cheng is graduating from York University, studying Political Science and Labour Studies. As a newcomer to Toronto, they are passionate about public policy, community advocacy and grassroots organizing. Outside of academics, Jian works with various non-profit organizations, focusing on tenant and housing organizing. They are fluent in Mandarin and aim to advance working-class conditions within Chinese and Asian communities.
