Sang-Hun Mun

Sang-Hun was injured in 2005 while he was working at a small roofing company that lacked proper health and safety protocols. As a newcomer to Canada, he struggled with the language barrier and faced systemic discrimination and racism. He has been an active member of a grassroots community injured workers group with his lived experience as an injured worker since 2014. It’s a diverse group of injured workers who have been fighting for fair compensation and respect from the WSIB (Workplace & Safety Insurance Board) for all workers in Ontario.

Sang-Hun is pleased to be part of the CCNCTO board. He’d like to be more involved and support the amazing work at CCNCTO. He believes it is vital that CCNCTO has been organizing around systemic racism, workers' rights, and injured workers' rights, especially in the racialized community with immigrants, migrants, refugees, and undocumented workers.
