Live Well Take Action
生活得好, 行动起来
The “Live Well, Take Action” program was a collaboration between ALPHA Education and the Chinese Canadian National Council Toronto Chapter (CCNCTO), and was funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). The program ran from 2019 to 2022 and has engaged a total of 192 youth from the East Asian community.
The Live Well, Take Action: Ambassador Program for East Asian Youth was an after-school initiative that aimed to empower East Asian youth by exploring their identities and providing them with the concepts and tools to become active agents of social change.
Through culturally relevant approaches and hands-on activities, the program centered East Asian experiences to build confidence and promote well- being. Students also focused on developing their skills in communication, critical thinking, wellness and community building.
